Ufouria: The Saga 2, a whimsical platformer from Red Art Games (@REDARTGAMES) and Sunsoft (@SUNSOFT_en), is coming to Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam in March. This marks the start of a long-term partnership between the two publishers.

Sequel to the 1991 Famicom/NES cult classic Ufouria: The Saga, Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a beautiful and humorous exploration-based side-scroller. Developed and published by Sunsoft in Japan, Ufouria: The Saga 2 has been ported to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 by Red Art Studios and is being published by RED ART GAMES in the West.

At launch, digital copies of Ufouria: The Saga 2 will cost $24.99/€24.99 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Switch and Steam. Ufouria: The Saga 2 will also get a physical release on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X in Europe. In North America,Video Games Plus (VGP) will distribute ESRB-rated Nintendo Switch and PS5 copies of Ufouria: The Saga 2. Physical copies of the long awaited sequel to Sunsoft’s 8-bit classic will cost $39.99 and €39.99 in North America and Europe respectively and will come out during Q3 2024.

In addition to Ufouria: The Saga 2’s Standard Edition which will be available everywhere once it launches, one special edition can also be pre-ordered exclusively from Red Art Games’ official online store now.

The Ufouria: The Saga 2 Deluxe Edition (RedArtGames.com exclusive, 500 copies per platform, €39.99) contains:

• A copy of the game with a reversible cover (Nintendo Switch or PS5)
• An exclusive sleeve featuring alternate cover art inspired by the original game’s Japanese cover
• A manual filled with information about the game
• A CD featuring both Ufouria: The Saga and Ufouria: The Saga 2’ soundtracks
